Math games can be fun

Yes math can be fun and games. It is just how you see it in your eyes. It is also how the teacher teachers the lesson. He can make it be boring and dull, or he can make it fun. I think if he makes it fun more of the students would want to learn. Math teachers can put more games into the lesson,but make sure that you don't get to much games because you will get off from the lesson.I chose these websites for fun http://www.coolmath4kids.com, http://www.funbrain.com,http://www.gamequarium.com/math.htm I chose these websites because they have math subjects that look very helpful to me.

What I've done this week

I writing about adding navigation and adding sound. These topics was very fun but they were very hard but after you got the hang of it they were very easy. In adding navigation you have your scenes and you make a button and then go the actions layer and copy a big long code to make flash go to the next level but then it blinks and you have to tell it to stop.My next topic that I'm writing about is adding sound. Adding sound is where you create an object and make it a button or a movie clip. Next you find a sound and you import to the library. Then you drag it out of the library and put it on the page. Then you import a key frame and drag the sound through the time line.

The game that I played in Globaloria

The game that I played in Globaloria was very fun. In the game you have to click on the sliver button and makes the shape rotate. It gives you a shape and a certain measure to go to. You also get three jumps to get to the shape. Instead of having levels you have zones. Each time you get past a zone the shapes and the rotations get harder instead of easy. The favorite game that I played was the one that I'm talking about and it was called transtar. I liked this game the best because I never really did play the others that much because soon as I finished the transtar the bell rang and I didn't get to play those much.

The things that I have done in Globaloria

We have done alot of things in Globaloria but my most favorite was when we had the bunny and the carrot. I liked this topic because we used codes and things to make the bunny eat the carrot and score points.We also made the bunnt eat the pizza to lose points. The next thing that I'm talking about is the buttons in flash. When you make a button you have to go to flash and draw a shape then you have to group the shape. After you do that you have to convert it to a symbol and their is your button. I think that the hardest topic that we have done is the adding navagation. This topic is hard because you have to put all of your scenes to put together it is very challenging because you have to type in all sorts of codes and tell flash to stop so it won't bink and jump from leve to level.

Adding navigation

Adding navigation is a fun topic but it is also hard. This topic is hard because you have to type in those hard codes. I don't like them because most of the time I mess up on the codes and I have to do it all over again. It is fun because you can make new layers and you can tell flash to stop and if you don't it will flash all kinds of different questions.I chose this video because I typed in adding navigation and it showed up this video and I thought it was a pretty good video.

My Globabaloria Experiance

My experiances have changed since the first time I wrote about this topic. Now I have alot more things to talk about,like flash, the levels that we have done to our paper prototypes and about our team page. The fist thing that I'm talking about is drawing in flash. Flash is a fun thing but it is kinda hard,in flash you can do almost anything. The next thing that I'm talking about is our levels that we done in and put on our team page.This was very fun and it is about the easyiest thing that I have done so far. the last thing that I'm talking about is our team page. Our team is Thriller. I have Haley and Courtney in my team. We work hard and we get alot of stuff done

Its all about flash

We have been working in flash and it has been fun but their are some other things that is in flash. Flash is hard until you learn all of the buttons. When you learn all of the buttons Flash is fun and pretty easy. What I have done in flash so far. We are working on a game that has 5 levels and I have done level 2, title page and I am going to do the loading page. What I don't like in flash is the way that you have to group your images up so that you can move them. I also don't like when we was doing the bunny where you had to type all of them codes in to make it move and to tell the score. I also dislike the way that if you upload an image you have to make it flash.

My role in my Team

I have two roles in my team. I'm the project manager and I'm the artist. I'm am good at this job because I feel like i can be a leader and I 'm good at the artist because I can draw some things very good.No, I work with a very good team and we all agree on the same things. I look froward to finishing this class and seeing how good my game will look. The inspiration to my game was that I like the way MJ tried to help the world,and the way that he sung and danced also.

Educational gaming

I have played the games from the school website. These games are study island acuity and cool math. In study island you can learn math while you play with some cool games that help you with your lesson that you are doing. Yes I do think games can create an atmosphere because if they didn't they wouldn't have the games on the websites that have lessons.I have also played some educational games on Spikes game zone. These games are fun and they teach you about things. I have learned a lot on these websites. I like study island the best because the games are fun and educational and they teach you about education pretty good.In acuity this subject is where we mostly take some practice tests. they are hard but I like doing it.

What are you most excited about making your game

I am most excited about making my game fun and making it were other people can play it. I also want to make it fun but a little challenging as the game goes on. I am excited about about getting to create my characters and getting to create the setting and the way that the characters move with flash.

The math blogs that I chose are hooda math.com and blogged.com. I chose hooda math because I really liked the way that they used their blogs and the way that they showed me what they were talking about. I chose blogged.com because I liked the blog that they were talking about. The blog showed me that math can be fun and blogging is fun. I also liked the blog because it looked like it was fun to do that blog.

How Has it Been in Globaloria?

Globaloria has been very good so far. I like Globaloria even know it is pretty hard. In Globaloria I find fascinating the flash. We are just getting into the flash but it is very fun. Like yesterday we made the carrot move. I also found fascinating the way that you could talk and send messages to your friends that you have on your page. We have learned to fix our wiki profiles and to use flash. We are also going to learn to make a video game. I have learned on playing to learn is that playing others peoples games was learning me different things. I learned on Choosing a topic is how to use real world resources. No not really. I haven't found any cool resources to go with the topic. My thoughts about flash are that I think that it is going to be fun. and I expect it to be hard. I hope to accomplish to make a game with flash and make all kinds of stuff move. I think I would be a sound expert. I think that this would be good for me because, I like playing with sounds.

Is the internet safe?

It is important for us to know how to use the internet properly and to know all of the sites to get on and not to get on. For instance if were doing something on the wiki like an assignment you shouldn't be on something else. We are making ourselves pretty safe online by having to make our own usernames instead of using a username made by the teachers. If we used a username made by the teachers it could get hacked into on a file and all of our information is lost. The internet is safe or dangerous depending on how you make it. Like say you get online and you click on this website and it comes up to write all of your information down like your name, address, and phone number. If you do this it is probably a fake website and a hacker can steal your indentity. If you stay away from this websites you will be safe and the internet will be safe.

What I like or dislike in math

What I like about math. I like to work on multiplacation tables, cause there easy to learn, and I also like to do fractions. I like to make decimals into fractions and also make them a mixed number. What I dislike in math. I dislike the irrational and rattional numbers. I dislike these numbers because it seems like that they are so hard, and I can't get how to do them. I also dislike probablity. I dislike this subject because it seems like it took so long to learn the lesson.

I am excited to be in Globaloria. In Globaloria I plan to make a game that helps people learn and try to help the world from global warming. I am most excited in Globaloria about making a game because I always wanted to make a video game, and I'm also glad to get a chance to show and tell people about global warming. But I'm scared to be in Globaloria because I'm afraid to mess up or mess something up.I'm also a shy person so that also makes me scared of the board members, when they come and tells us to present the game.
