My year in Globaloria

I have had a fun year in globaloria. I have learned a lot and been through a lot. Our game is almost finished we just need a few more touches. Our game is about MJ. He has to save the world from the division signs. As you go through each level the problems get harder and more diffucult to get through. I would tell the students that are taking this class to really be ready to work because if you ain't this class is not for you. I would also tell the students that there is some fun times in this class but when it is time to work the fun is over.

Game Progress

We are pretty far in our game MJ Saves the World. We have all of our levels completed. We just have to put them together in a demo. My game members are Haley and Courtney. We work together pretty good. Sometimes we are not on the same page, but at the end we are a good group. Our game is on math and we choosed division. Our game will help those people who play it with division. We have some pretty interesting division problems in our game. We have come a long ways in our game from the begining. At the begining we had a stick figure MJ, now we found a picture of him and it looks a lot better than the one that we had drawn. We also had some great ideas from David to put a video to use throughout our game. This is our progress so far in Globaloria.

Game Ideas

I looked at the WV country girls page and I seen a couple of things to talk about. The first thing that I'm talking about is that they don't have enough game tutorials on their page. They do have the paper prototype so that is something. No there is nothing that I can use in my game. I really can't tell my favorite part of the game because they only have the title page. No not really because none of their games have the same idea as our game.

Presentations

The hardest part of our presentation that I think is when we had to get up and talk to David. But after I started talking that wasn't to hard. The best part of our presentation is when David told our team that he liked our game. It is was also good when it was over. The feedback that I we got from the Team was that we done very good. But he told us that we should put a video at the end of our game. The changes that we make will not be much. But we are going to change the way MJ looks. I think that our game will be different than what it is now. Because we will make it better.

Presenting your game

Presenting your game was a topic were you had to create a powerpoint about your game. You had to have 8-10 slides. The easiest part about this powerpoint was wheen we looked for pictures to put in the powerpoint. The hardest part of this topic was when we were doing this topic, it was snowing and we had to miss some days. That made is work even harder because we had to catch up for those days that we missed. I am really nervous about the presentation because all of the students will look at us,and I'm not to good at talking in front of people.

Assembling my game

The fun part of assembling the game was when you had to type in the code to make the levels stop and go to each one. The hard put of this topic was about every part of the topic. But I'm going to talk about only one of them. The hard part was when you had to put all of those timelines and keyframes in the game. I got messed up on them. My teacher had to help me get it sorted out.

Rembering Jordan

On the 20th of January the Sandy River Tigers were playing a ball game. All of a sudden one of their players collapsed and he was rushed to the hospital and he was pronounced dead. My aunt called me and told me what happened. I thought that it was a lie. But Dillion called me and told me so, then I knew that it was true . Then I started to cry. So that week at school everybody was crying and doing everything. So then I started to cry again. He's twin brother Joseph was taking it pretty good, until the funeral then he started to cry. Everybody was around him hugging up to him. When I seen him in the casket I started crying even more. Joseph and Jordan was always great sports players. Like this past year we won the championship in football. we only lost one game.
